Dear Colleagues,

You are invited to attend the 13th German-French Workshop on Oxide, Dielectric, and Laser single crystals 2024 (WODIL), organized by CRISTECH and CMDO+ CNRS networks, under the aegis of the French Committee for Crystal Growth (CFCC-AFC) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Kristallwachstum und Kristallzüchtung (DGKK, AK Optische Kristalle). This scientific event will take place on September 18th–19th, 2024, at the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme – Alpes (MSH-Alpes, Human Sciences House) on the Grenoble Alpes University (UGA) campus, in Saint Martin d’Hères, France.

This workshop brings together scientists and scholars from industry, research labs, and universities to present and discuss the recent advances in the field of oxide, chalcogenide or halide crystals, dielectric materials, laser and non-linear optical crystals, OPOs and solid-state lasers, and related topics (laser spectroscopy, optical index metrology, magneto-optical properties, etc.).

Anyone interested in the workshop’s topics is cordially invited to participate and to present her or his interesting scientific results.

Two young researchers best communication prizes will be awarded by the Wiley Edition company.

We encourage you to submit an abstract for oral communication (15 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion), or for a poster communication at the workshop, by sending a filled two-page document in compliance with the attached template file, which will be included in the abstract book delivered at the workshop, at the following address: Matias.Velazquez@simap.grenoble-inp.fr We also highly recommend you to attend for free the workshop special dinner at the gastronomic restaurant Per’Gras, at the Fort de la Bastille (470 m) in Grenoble, where you will go up and down by the famous bubble cable cars and have the opportunity to take amazing souvenir photos of the Grenoble area 270° panoramic view.
